The interactive application includes maps of the George R. Brown Convention Center for easy navigation. Gain access to the local eateries, search dealers and artists by name or booth number, and check out the rules concerning cosplay and the convention itself at the touch of a few buttons.
Also offered is a “Check In” feature that allows people to add their name to a roster of attending guests. This guest list allows users to share “Contact Cards,” information about the user such as phone number, with other convention goers. In addition, you can create your own schedule of events and receive reminders up to an hour before the event starts so that you never miss a second of the action.
Guests can apply to become a volunteer or purchase tickets through the application as well. Connect to social media via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more. If a guest is afraid they may forget a piece of their costume they can also create a “To Do” list to make sure their outfit is a huge success. Need to scan a barcode? The application features a QR Scanner for all your code blocked moments.
To download the application, go to Google Play or the iOS App Store and download the Comicpalooza app to your device. This application requires iOS 5.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch; however, the application is optimized for use on an iPhone 5.
