Comicpalooza an Enticing Venture for Schools and Veterans

Comicpalooza is fast approaching us (Friday, May 23rd to be exact) and were pretty excited. However, if you are going to school or are apart of the military, you should be a tad more excited than the average nerd according to these 2 documents we have received from the good folks over at Comicpalooza:

Military Press Release: More details inside

Educational Press Release: More details inside

In case you don’t feel like clicking on super convenient links, lets quickly break down the 2 announcements.

The 1st document, Military Press Release, states that on Monday, May 26th aka Memorial Day, …”any U.S. Military veteran bringing valid proof of military service will receive one free admission”. More details are in the provided documents.

The 2nd document, Educational Press Release, states that this year Comicpalooza will feature an Education Track with plenty of panels, workshops, and demonstrations. “The offering allows educators and students of all ages a chance to learn and have fun at the same time. Topics include art, writing, film making, animation, science, robots, theater, prop and costume fabrication, voice acting, video game development with more to be added.” Schools can also attend Comicpalooza as a field trip and get specially discounted passes (email and to sign up. Include both school name and number of students in the subject line). More details are in the provided documents.

So there you have it, if you are in school or the military and want something awesome to do Memorial Day weekend, look no further than Comicpalooza. For more information about the actual convention itself, be sure to visit
