Running While Shooting? Crazy Talk!

Remember that one time in Resident Evil 2, when you were chasing after Leon Kennedy, and while you were running after him you opened fire and killed him? No? Well good, you shouldn’t remember that, because it never happened. However, change is on the horizon with Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City, which not only lets you run and shoot at the same time (a first for the series), but also gives you the choice between 6 different playable characters with different abilities like turning invisible or taking control of Bio Organic Weapons and the option to make major “what-if” decisions like killing Resident Evil 4 protaganist Leon Kennedy.

To Kill or Not to Kill, That is the Question

Set for a late 2011 release, RE: Operation Racoon City puts you in charge of a member of the Umbrella Security Service (USS) during the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Your main goal is to destroy evidence of Umbrella’s wrong doing, which includes killing zombies and survivors alike, all the while going up against Special Operations teams who are tyring to expose the actions of Umbrella. Operation Racoon City may be straying farther away from its RE horror roots, but with great graphics, four-player co-operative gameplay, which pits the USS against the US Special Operations task-force, and more, it could be one of the top zombie games to come out this year.

So, be looking forward to a nice trip back to Racoon City sometime late this year on the 360, PS3, and PC. And while your at it, enjoy this gameplay trailer courtesy of Game News.
